Repost from "I Love Responsible Dog Breeders Facebook Page" that I found interesting.

Alright I'm putting this out there in an effort to clearly state where I stand. I personally think that to discredit all crossbreeding as worthless is the very definition of elitism and when tradition blocks progress that could potentially ameliorate the health and lives of our dogs then we need to question that tradition and make space for new ideas and possibilities. Many breeds have been continually in and line bred to the point where they have unacceptably abbreviated lifespans and present with diseases, conditions and syndromes that come from being the product of that long term inbreeding.

I am not saying that I find no value in purebred dogs, I do but I also refuse to shut down entire avenues of possibility for what I see as rhetoric. So there you have my two cents.
